The Road Less Travelled in Cancer: Reversing Stage 2 Lymphoma With Mark Restivo

When Mark was handed a stage two lymphoma diagnosis, he faced a crossroads: follow the well-trodden path of conventional treatment, or forge his own trail toward healing. Opting for the latter, Mark’s story becomes our guide on a transformative journey of self-healing, as he walks us through the profound lifestyle changes that not only gave him a second chance at life but also opened his eyes to the body’s remarkable healing ability.

Mark and I met in a wonderful men’s community called Metal. He showed up at a breathwork session that I lead in early 2023. He shared with us his diagnosis and how he was already embarking upon a thorough clean-up of his diet to detoxify and bolster his immune system.

I called him immediately afterward to suggest more he could do and to offer support where I could. I knew, in my heart, he was going to be fine. He had the right mindset. A “get to the cause” mindset. He also had years of transcendental meditation under his belt.

Cancer is a topic close to my heart, having lost three friends to it in 2015, which inspired me to thoroughly research this topic. I intuited that we are not being told the whole truth about cancer, and that is precisely what I found – very quickly. The body is a powerful, self-healing machine, when we remove what is harming it, and support it with precisely what it needs.

Mark has an engineering mind, which to me, means is he naturally inclined to find the root cause.  The conventional approach made no sense to him.  By eliminating detrimental inflammatory food types, habits and substances like sugar, alcohol and caffeine from day one, his journey began in a thorough detox across every conceivable angles of health.
